Subject: The Rescue Appeal

Hi there Helen,

Thank you for the work you do. We appreciate it, as much as the animals you
create a better life for.

We are a dog rescue in Cambridgeshire. Our work is based on, rescuing, and
rehoming
abandoned/unwanted dogs all over the UK. Most of the dogs that come into
rescue have ended up in that situation, through no fault of their own. Very
often, we
find that the breed/type of dogs that pass through our doors, are usually an
unwanted breeding machine or status symbol that has grown too tired, or
labelled
unfit for breeding.
A dog with a behaviour issue usually has a one-way ticket in the dog pound.
In most
cases, they are just misunderstood, and require a second chance to prove
that
uneducated dog owners cause these patterns of uncertainty.
Passionate about what we do, we are always thankful to those who adopt a
dog, as
they save a life. Without the general public, we could not continue this
mission, of
helping out, and speaking out for those who can't.
Although we are a small organization, the work we do can make a bigger
difference
to the animals in desperate need of a forever loving home. They do not ask
for much,
just the very basic ingredients of a happy dog recipe. Food, water, love and
shelter.
All contributions and donations are greatly welcomed, as everything makes a
difference to their quality of life. Here is a idea of the general
requirements of a UK
rescue dog;
Food, water, worming tablets, Flea treatment, bedding, toys, treats,
collars, leads,
bowls, towels, newspapers, wood materials, coats, chip scanners, muzzles and
so
forth.
When we all work together, we can really make things happen.
Please forward any contributions via Pay pal to:
donations@walkerscreekrescue.co.uk cheques should be made payable to Mrs
Claire L Walker and sent to 59 Helpston Road, Glinton, Peterborough, PE6 7JT

We would also like to extended the appeal statement, for any contributions
towards Horses.
IE worming treatment, flea treatment, shavings, hay, straw, coats, head
collars, lead ropes, bowls, bridles, saddles, and donations are welcomed.

Regards of kindness

Claire and Lee Walker from Walker's Creek Rescue.
