COME in number six - your work is done.

Almost three years has passed since Molly the greyhound was purchased to
undertake a certain task.

Under the racing name Justice For Matt, it was her job not to just to win
the odd race, but to keep a campaign to bring the men responsible for the
death of a Sheffield teenager before the courts.

And now the four-year-old greyhound has been retired from her kennels at
Owlerton Stadium having completetd her given task.

Every time she ran her name went on the card to give a reminder of a
campaign launched by The Star to bring to justice the killers of Matthew
Cryer, who died on the holiday Island of Zante almost four years ago.

The 17-year-old Sheffield Wednesday fan, who grew up in Killamarsh and
Frecheville, died four years ago after being punched by nightclub bouncers
who then threw him down a flight of steps.

His killers have never been caught, despite an in-depth file into his death
being sent to the Greek authorities following an inquest in Chesterfield.

Since the inquest, Matthew's family have worked tirelessly to keep the
campaign in the public eye and get justice for him.

They won the support of MPs including Prime Minister David Cameron,
footballers, boxers and, of course, greyhound racing enthusiasts and betting
shop visitors.

As Molly settles in to a life of retirement with the Cryer family, the
campaign has moved on a step this week.

His dad David is currently in Greece where he and two witness who saw what
happened outside the Cocktails and Dreams nightclub in Laganas on the night
Matt died will meet with magistrates in Zante.

Before flying out David told The Star: "It seems that, at last something is
starting to happen.

"At last we may see those responsible for Matt's death brought to justice.

"Molly has played her part by reminding people of the campaign in the
200-odd races that she ran, many of which she won.

"She is now settling down to life with us and is very much part of the
family."
