Say NO to the ‘STOW’
~ How you can help ~

The gentle souls need our help again - this time to prevent the gambling on dogs returning to the East London venue and keep Walthamstow dog track closed for good!
If you haven’t already - please read this article which specifically details why the gambling on dogs should not return to Walthamstow - Say NO to the 'STOW'
The present owners – social housing landlords London and Quadrant – have submitted plans to Waltham Forest Council to develop the site and build a mix of much needed affordable and private housing with extensive onsite leisure facilities.
You can show your support for L&Q - who are totally opposed to the return of the gambling on dogs at Walthamstow - by completing this online ‘Comment on a Planning Application’ form. You can also use this form to state why you oppose the re-opening of the dog track. This facility closes on August 4th so please complete the form before then.
You will need to highlight the lower button in blue when you answer the question ‘How did you become aware of this Planning Application?’ - which will enable your form to be processed.
Please also write directly to the Planning Officer in charge of this case - Richard McEllistrum and tell him why you oppose the re-opening of Walthamstow dog track.

The ‘Save Our Stow’ campaign to bring dog racing back to Walthamstow has also generated political interest. It is vitally important you let these MP’s and Ministers know why this campaign and the inherent cruel practices of dog racing should not be supported.

Please write about your personal experiences and feel free to make reference to the article that has been prepared specifically for the launch of the Say NO to the 'STOW' campaign. Please add a link to the Campaign Video - http://youtu.be/5YiVLPGW6T4 - remembering to be polite at all times ~ thank you!
