Syrup´s Hot ist wärend eines Rennens gestorben...das passiert täglich, auch wenn sie sich "nur" verletzen sind sie todgeweiht, denn keiner will die Kosten tragen die ein verletzter Greyhound verursacht!

R.I.P. Syrup...
Syrup's Hot, number 5/ yellow greyhound flies into the air and...
Have you ever watched a greyhound race?

Greyhounds run very fast, up to 70km an hour. They are the second fastest land animal to the cheetah.

When greyhounds are forced to run fast , they can do serious injury.

Take a look at this video.
Wagga greyhound track 13th January 2013

Watch the yellow/number 5 greyhound.

This boy is called Syrup's Hot.

All of a sudden Syrup's Hot disappears

Well we looked at the steward's report for this race, which is supposed to say injuries and the time they cannot race so their injuries are healed.

The steward's report said ;
"Syrup's Hot checked off Kenny Lone Stone on the back straight and flew into the air landing on the rail. Veterinary attention provided to Syrup's Hot"

We investigated further and found out this greyhound didn't require any veterinary attention as this boy DIED from this crash.

Syrup's Hot was a 21/2 year old brindle male greyhound that was forced to run for his life and he died running for his life.

More than 270 greyhounds in Australia in 2012 suffered the same fate as Syrup's Hot.

RIP Syrup's Hot

YOU BET THEY DIE
