Washington, D.C. for two years. Offenberger is now in remission, but suffers
from anxiety in crowded places, nightmares and depression.
"I have come a long way with these issues, and I am always looking and being

Hero II, some of the issues will be alleviated."
Service Dogs 4 Service Men is a contingent of South Floridians who wanted to
train retired greyhounds to be companions for those who spent time in the
military. The group says paying for a service dog can be expensive, so
providing well-trained dogs supported by donations would help veterans.
Recipients are selected through an application process.
The group formed about a year ago and began working with Greyhound Pets of
America and the kennel club to train the dogs with Daniel De La Rosa at
Petropolis Park in Hollywood
