'GRAI' invites all 'South West Animal Protection' supporters to walk for
Greyhounds on Sunday 17th June 2012, meet at 12 noon- please publicise this
huge event to all your facebook/website and twitter contacts!
Important walk for Greyhounds in Dublin, Ireland- (Greyhound Rescue
Assosciation Ireland)- please support this event in June by reading the full
details below. Please mark your diaries for this huge event and share with
all your dog lovers particularly greyhound devotees.
'GRAI' is an association of animal rescue and rehoming organisations in
Ireland. All member organisations are dedicated to the rescue,
rehabilitation and rehoming of abused and abandoned greyhounds.
All breeds of dogs welcome! Over 250 people and 100 dogs attended this event
last year, we would like to increase those numbers and make this a major
Irish event welcoming all Irish people, UK, European, and USA folks with the
walk's peaceful aim highlighting the plight of the Irish greyhound and how
they make wonderful pets. The greyhounds need you!

Dear Friends,

The Greyhound Rescue Association of Ireland (GRAI) is very pleased to invite
you to the 2012 GRAI Walk for Greyhounds on the 17th June, in Dublin city
centre.

We would be very grateful if you could post this on your website and
facebook and circulate it as widely as possible to all your members and
supporters, your personal contacts and partner organisations.

GRAI brings together 14 independent organisations that rescue Greyhounds in
Ireland. The Walk aims to demonstrate that "Greyhounds make Great Pets".

Last year's walk was a fantastic success attracting over 200 people and
almost as many greyhounds and other dogs of all shapes and sizes. The hounds
were perfectly behaved and drew a lot of attention from shoppers in Dublin
City Centre who could see for themselves how greyhounds make wonderful pets.
The walk was also well covered by Irish media who helped spread the message.

GRAI is gathering celebrity support for the walk and we will be issuing news
releases as part of the pre-publicity shortly.

Please help us to build the profile of the Walk, create a buzz around it and
attract an even bigger response than last year. For up to date information

This year's event will be taking place on Sunday 17th June, at 12pm
Fusilier's Arch, St Stephens Green (opposite Grafton Street, Dublin). Please
bring food and drink as required, blanket/rug to sit on and comfortable
shoes. All breeds of dogs and walkers without dogs, very welcome!
